DALLAS, May 22, 2018 – Altacrest Capital announces Brien Davis has joined as a Partner. Brien will be responsible for sourcing, executing and managing private equity investments with a focus on the Business Services sector. Additionally, Brien joins Tim Laczkowski and Rick Sukkar as Partners managing the overall day to day operations of the firm. Within Business Services, Altacrest is particularly attracted to companies that provide outsourced services to Consumer Products businesses (handling of customer returns, asset light product development, testing/inspection services) as well as companies that provide outsourced HR services (professional employer organizations, benefits management, insurance brokerage).

Prior to joining Altacrest, Brien spent 14 years with Prudential Capital Group, the private investment arm of Prudential Financial. Most recently at Prudential Capital, Brien was a Senior Vice President responsible for originating, evaluating and monitoring private debt and equity investments. Brien has significant experience in providing capital to fund growth initiatives as well as to facilitate acquisitions, recapitalizations and leveraged buy-outs. Before joining Prudential Capital, Brien spent five years in middle market investment banking at Hoak Breedlove Wesneski focused on M&A and capital raising assignments for companies within the Southwest. Brien began his career at Willamette Management Associates, a national business valuation firm focused on the middle market.
Brien holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas Tech University where he was a University Scholar and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin where he received Dean’s Honors. He also holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst.
